Soil Sampling Screening Testing and Reporting in Maryland

AEEG will send a field scientist to the location that you wish to be evaluated. The field scientist will utilize field instrumentation known as a photoionization detector (PID) that is properly calibrated to 100 parts per million by volume (ppm-v) isobutylene to evaluate the presence (if any) of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). After the soil samples have been scanned with the PID, the soil sample will be collected into proper bottleware and sent to an accredited laboratory for analysis. This process is done to ensure that impacts are detected and evaluated for a plan to implement clean up activities, if needed. This process can also be completed to ensure that the soil in the area is not impacted and ready for reuse in construction projects, as backfill material, etc.
